Hiroshima

At 300 km/h the trip from Kyoto to Hiroshima didn’t take long at all:

Hiroshima itself was of course a more sombre experience. Although, at times,the “creative” reporting of history in the “Peace Museum” did feel a bit one sided… Anywho, photos, the Atomic Dome. One of the few buildings near the center that was still standing after the explosion (and the only one left now so as to serve as a monument):

One of the many watches in the Peace Museum that conveniently stopped at 8:15 without being completely destroyed and has a graphic and personal story of suffering associated with it:
