Explored a little bit of Kyoto today, checking out some of the Cherry Blossoms in the Imperial Palace Gardens.
And it seems anyone else with some half decent camera gear was out there too:
Off to another part of Kyoto to have a nosey at Kinkaku-ji (the Golden Pavilion).
And some more gardens (this one had some seriously tall bamboo going on)
The obligatory food stop (ok, so this stuff is plastic, but the real thing was good)
Weather was really interesting today. Got very very cold at times, but then every so often it was clear enough to get shots that made it look sunny:
