Haven’t posted much in a while, so I’m taking the opportunity to drop in a few photography related keywords and matching photos.
First word – 7D. Ok, so it’s not a word, but it’s the Canon EOS 7D.
Next up, Manfrotto. I finally decided on what combination of tripod legs and head would best suit me. And what I’ve run with is the 055x for legs:
They are SOLID! No excuse for soft and wobbly landscape shots any more. Well, excuses other than “I’m to lazy to carry the extra 2.3kg”
The top is a 488 RC2 ball head. Simple twist of the dial and it’s free and easy to reposition, tweak it tight and it doesn’t creep at all. Fantastic. Also has separate panning to keep it perfectly level for panoramas and such:
Anywho, hope to be posting lots of “New Zealand Christmas Tree” images over the coming weeks as the Pohutukawa come into flower.
