The rough 10km course:

resulted in a high attrition rate:

so the field was considerably smaller by the last run.
Also spent the day playing with my new point and shoot camera (Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ7), some of the static shots here were taken with it. Nifty thing is it also has some High Definition video capability:
The clip should give you some appreciation of how little time you have to get a well focused and composed shot as the cars whiz past…
