Was this really a smart way to spend the day? Out shooting a local car club hillclimb in the searing heat. I really don’t see how dustbaths appeal to sparrows, they’re not my cup of tea…
In typical Thames Valley Car Club fashion the start was late, putting the event smack bang in the hottest part of the day. Thankfully I’ve played this game before so had a liberal supply of sunscreen and cold drinks – that of course did nothing to stop the dust getting into everything. Had to vacuum the camera gear afterwards. Didn’t vaccum me, I’m more waterproof so went with a shower.
