				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p></p><br /><p>There&#8217;s a track up in the hills behind Whakatane called the <a href="http://www.whakatane.com/walks_ngatapuwae.html">Bird Walk</a>, yeah, creative naming, it&#8217;s a nice walk and there are birds.  It&#8217;s part of Nga Tapuwae o Toi, the &#8220;Footprints of Toi&#8221;, a collection of walkways around Whakatane.  The Bird Walk section is also known and the Mokoroa Bush Scenic Reserve.</p>

<p>And with this scenery come some hefty climbs.  There are about 3 sets of these stairs on the way round the loop:</p>

<p>So yes, nice walk, then I go ruin it all with some heavy breathing:</p>

<p>The first cut of this video was able to very quickly induce motion sickness. Ran a <a href="http://www.guthspot.se/video/deshaker.htm">deshake</a> plugin across it and now it&#8217;s almost watchable&#8230;  Filmed with a little <a href="http://www.goprocamera.com/">GoPro</a> camera strapped to my chest.</p>
