Day trip from Innsbruck down to Lake Carezza and back. i.e. from Austria into Italy and back. Down on the highway, back along the windy roads. Lots of driving and sightseeing, very few photos.

I kinda overlooked the fact it would be frozen when I was visiting. Have a look over here to see what it looks like in warmer times.

It was a beautiful spot (http://www.suedtirolerland.it), but I really struggled to make any good pictures there.  Here’s another snap just to make up the numbers.

The next day it was from Austria into Italy again, up over the 2094 m Jaufenpass and down into Merano.  Got a lot more photos to share from that day…
