And by coffee art I’m not talking latte art, I’m talking coffee bag art. The team flicking out the coffee orders must be sampling a good volume of the product at times, but I don’t know what message this delivery is supposed to convey…

So is this a forecast for my future, a sketch of the man who packs my coffee, or something entirely different?

Who knows…

Looks like the team at Havana Coffee Works are back on their game. After a bit of a dry spell on the creative labeling front (maybe some one switched them to decaf?!) this week’s delivery shows a bit of flair:

Wanted coffee this afternoon, but it’s way to hot here. Brain slow, d’uh, affogato. Like most Italian food it’s so simple, but when done well with the finest ingredients it’s mindblowing. And today the rich smokey Cuban beans came together with the smooth sweet vanilla icecream to make what is technically termed om nom nomyness

Seriously, it was _that_ good. Espresso and icecream, who’d've thought.

Another delicious delivery from Havana, and this time the creativity has me labeled as Señor Jason…

So apparently the All Blacks played a game this weekend, and apparently they lost. So while half the country was probably watching and mourning that, I was out shooting stuff.

Love Havana Coffee Works, they’re my ‘supplier’ of small paper bags out of Cuba. Primarily it’s the fantastic freshly roasted coffee which is easy to order and arrives reliably on my doorstep each week that has me hooked. But there’s a nice bit of garnish too – dressing up of the paper bags. So I figure I’ll start making a collection of the interesting ones. I’ll kick it off with “mr right?!”
